This Wednesday sees the opening night of a festival which has been held annually in Vilnius since 1973. It is one of the biggest events in the city’s cultural calendar, with over 20,000 people visiting and 30 folklore groups taking part. Attractions include a craft fair, traditional food, folk music and dancing, in locations ranging from concert halls to Sereikiškių Park.
The official festival website seems to be down as I write this, but there is a schedule on Entertainment Bank.
